Meb Keflezighi 26 Marathons
Boston and NYC marathon winner and Olympic medalist Meb Keflezighi writes about each of the 26 marathons he ran in his pro career. One marathon per chapter with a key lesson learned, details of training, challenges, and a compelling account of the race itself. Great insights into pro running training, race strategy, mental strength. Reminds us that the pros face many of the same struggles that amateurs contend with.
I read a hard copy of this and a chapter/race per night before bed was just right for relaxing while being inspired, learning a lot and being disconnected from screens. I am tempted to get the audio version too for listening to on runs. I think it would be excellent long-run, base-training, rehab or recovery material.
