Originally released in December 2011 this feature-length film was re-released on youtube with free access during the COVID-19 lockdown. The film follows the top men in the 2010 Western States 100 as they battle for the win.
Roadless qualifies for inclusion here for two main reasons: 1. This expedition is solid type 2 fun. It's fully human-powered, no helicopters, no snowmobiles, no lifts, just sweat and effort. 2. It's a beautiful window to the wilderness which provides a mental boost if you are stuck indoors on a treadmill or similar.

Documentary film following the journey of ultrarunner Karel Sabbe from his start in the sport through to his experience in the 2019 Barkley Marathons. This story surpassed expectations. Without giving away too much let's just say that Karel is no "hobby jogger." Highly recommended. Check it out next time you need something to watch on the treadmill.
